Five Minute Hugs 2: A Softer Pace

Episode description

Life can sometimes leave us feeling as though we should be moving faster, doing more, or already be somewhere else.

This Five Minute Hug offers a brief opportunity to slow things down. Not to stop completely, and not to retreat from life’s demands, but simply to meet this moment at a gentler pace.

Through a few minutes of reflection, breath, and awareness, you are invited to step out of urgency and spend some time with yourself as you are. There is nothing to achieve here. Just enough space to notice your surroundings, your breathing, and the possibility that kindness and progress can sometimes move at the same speed.

What you may find helpful

  • A quiet and comfortable space

  • Headphones if preferred

  • Five uninterrupted minutes

  • Permission to slow down for a moment
