Why subscribe?
Life, the universe and most likely therapy.
This newsletter began as a place to write about counselling and psychotherapy, but over time it has become something a little broader. It is now a space for reflections on therapy, wellbeing, human connection, everyday life, and the increasingly complicated relationship we have with technology.
Drawing on practice, research, teaching, and occasional curiosity-driven wanderings, I write about how therapeutic ideas appear beyond the therapy room and how psychological thinking can help us make sense of ourselves and the world around us.
You’ll also find The Therapeutic Pause here: a growing collection of guided reflections, restorative practices, guided imagery exercises, and the occasional five minute hug.
I don’t promise answers to everything. But I do hope to offer thoughtful questions, useful ideas, and perhaps a few moments of reflection along the way.
Subscribe if any of that sounds useful.
